After the
holidays, it seems as though everyone has the distinct itch to shop. Is it
because of all of the sales that are “too good to pass up”? Or is it because we
all just really thrive on the competition to beat out other shoppers to get the
perfect parking place? Or is it because, again this year, we didn’t get what we
wanted gasp?
I haven’t
quite identified the cause, but whatever it is, the post-holidays shopping
phenomenon sucks us all in like a black hole, strangling our wallets and purses
for every last penny it can muster.
With this in
mind, let me talk to you about the wonderful sale I found over at Aldo. Aldo
has always been a great source for good-looking shoes that don’t cost a
fortune. But what’s better is when their shoes are half price, and they are
still just as good-looking as they were at full price.
Since
gold/metallic have hit the blog realm and continue to take hold of all of us, I
decided to pick out my top five pair of gold shoes from Aldo that I couldn’t
stop staring at as I cruised the site.
1.While
I realize many of you might classify these as silver, they have a gorgeous
gold-silver sheen to them, thus, qualifying them to be included in my gold
story. I am totally in a sneaker phase right now, so I’m fairly certain these
are coming home with me. These are listed under the name SEN, and they are on
sale for $50-
2.Booties.
Who can get enough pairs of booties? They go with everything. They look chic.
And these bad boys have Gold glitter on the back of them. I’m all about glitter.
Leaving a little gold glitter trail behind will ensure each enchanted
party-goer doesn’t forget you. These little debbies are listed under the name
CEDRINA and they are on sale for $60-
3. Again,
another amazing sneaker with gold, glittery accents. (Are you sensing a pattern
here?) I love these. Adding a little bling to your feet and spicing up the
jeans and a white tee (model off-duty) outfit, these shoes need to be in a part
of my shoe wardrobe. Love them! You can find these on the website under the
name ARDOLINO for $100-
4.This
pair of mid-calf boots are seriously perfect. I just ordered a pair for myself
here, and I can’t wait to start sporting them on my blog. I love the harness
detail and the light color metallic sheen. I also like the fact that it has a
tough quality to it, but it’s so pretty and soft at the same time. You can find
this boot under the name WEAKLY for $120-
5.And
last, but not least there is the gold ballet flat. I love this shoe, because it’s
so feminine and it’s a complete lifesaver. Any time you are wearing high, high
heels, and you are going dancing or to a meet & greet, please do me a favor
and take a pair of these with you. You and your feet will thank me-plus they’re
cute comfy, not ugly comfy. These are the KISSELL flats for $45-
So these are
my top five GOLD RUSH picks from Aldo Shoes, be sure to check out what other
great things they have and remember, you can buy these shoes online.
